Healthcare & COVID-19 Vaccines

One of Skycart’s key missions is to use our drones to increase access to healthcare by delivering critical medical supplies including COVID-19 vaccines and blood.  Currently, across the globe, hundreds of millions of people lack adequate medical care due to flooded or damaged roads and high traffic volume to hospitals.  Road transport of key medical supplies like blood, vaccines, test kits, PPE and pharmaceuticals in these areas is incredibly challenging and at times, impossible.  However, Skycart drones are able to deliver these critical medical supplies and reduce transportation time from 4 hours to 30 minutes or less.  Our drones are able to fly over unpaved roads and past traffic to ensure that any region, no matter how remote, is able to get access to medical care.

Vaccines and Test Kits

In remote areas, cost-efficient vaccine and test kit distribution can be challenging, given the amount of resources it takes to distribute a few supplies.  Skycart’s drones enable rapid and cost-efficient vaccine and test kit distribution across large geographic areas including those unreachable by car.

This will be particularly useful for COVID-19 vaccine and test kit deliveries as several regions across the globe are still struggling to manage the virus.   Skycart can help transport these vaccines across several regions in a safe and cost-effective way, enabling faster and larger geographic reach within minutes.

Blood

As blood transfusions are one of the most common medical procedures in the world, the need for rapid supply is critical.  However, blood is costly and often in short supply.  Skycart is able to swiftly deliver blood and plasma safely in temperature-controlled packages, and eliminate blood spoilage during transport.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Similar to vaccines and test kits, Skycart can deliver useful PPE to hospitals and doctors.  At a time of COVID-19, Skycart can facilitate the efficient and rapid restocking of PPEs so that doctors are protected and can focus on the recovery of their patients.

Pharmaceuticals
